For the second question, most people don't anymore... However, there was a lawsuit in 2003 over Apple's use of the "UNIX" trademark, which was probably why they got macOS certified as UNIX. I'm not sure if that's relevant today though.

It was W7, but i got forced to W10 which is not that bad after some tweaks, but my PC performs a bit poorer due to its higher requirements.
