What are you doing?

3 Questions.

What are the personal projects that you are doing currently?

What is the purpose of said project(s)?

When do you think you are going to finish?

Just curious.

This are mine in case you were wondering (which most likely you werent)

1.- I am rehabilitating the pc who's board died to make it a retrogaming console.
The purpose is to have a console in my room and play a bit or watch a movie before going to sleep.
Im adding the games. I may need to do a bit of clean up of the rooms, so maybe a week.

2.- Rearranging my "studio", if we can call it like that to work in a few YT channels that should be easy to run.
The purpose is to have passive income. Not planning to be millionaire, but a decent income would be nice.
May need to acquire equipment, paint the room, doing a couple fixes here and there. Maybe by the end of the year.

3.- Acquiring laser cutting machines, got my second one yesterday. But im aiming to 3 of the same type of the one I just got (the previous one was the learning one, which I will most likely retire).
The purpose is to eventually make a living from laser cutting.
I have been slacking a bit for a while and I have not sold anything for a while cause im not at the shop that frequently, but I think that still need about a year and a half to cover all details unless my income suddenly increases.

Thats on my spare time. I still have my job.

Eating pretzels with hummus and reading about Greenland.

  1. I am working on Rachmaninov's prelude in G minor, and I also plan to do the entirety of "Po zarostlém chodníčku" by Leos Janacek and also some fugues by Shostakovich.

goal of the project: fun and to introduce people to Janacek.

I think I need another 10 days for Rachmaninov and 1 month for Janacek

  1. be back to painting (gouache on canvas) I stopped last year due to lack of time and I would like to start again because I miss it a little, I plan to come back and study Matisse and Chagall (why not go see paintings in nice or St Paul de Vence) and buy equipment.
Above all, I want to have fun and have a stable hobby (like chess). I've done a lot of sketching this year (I took advantage of intermission breaks during my concerts to draw with a pen), so I have plenty of subjects to start a painting with.

  2. classify and clean my entire collection of Panini and Topps football cards

Nice.
My sister said a couple of years ago that she would like to learn to paint.
I gave her a painting set for xmas, but she has not even tried to date.

Its a fun hobby. And its amazing when you are actually good.

I would have loved to have learned the piano when I was a kid.

As soon as I go on vacation I have to think about finding a way to play piano, because going a day or two without touching it is not very good, but 3 or 4 days is much worse if you are just starting out a new piece. I have been playing piano since I was 6, and also composing, conducting (2020) and since this year, harpsichord. I gave around forty concerts this year, so I'm pretty happy. and I hope to do the same this year

Thats pretty awesome.

Did you see the show forged in fire?

Thats why I got interested in 3d printing to begin with. To be able to do some stuff that I cant do myself.

It is awesome when you can do things like "Ice". The blade of Ned Stark from Game of thrones. Or any one that you would like to do anyways.
