Even stranger is why would someone write a cheating extension and share it? If you're cheating yourself at the very least you get a higher rating (obviously this doesn't justify cheating, though). But what do you have to gain by publishing a cheating extension? There's also a lot to lose, since by writing a cheating extension it shows that you are dishonest, which would (hopefully at least) destroy your chances of getting hired as a developer (or indeed, any other job) if your would-be employer found out. Although of course certain companies might view dishonesty as an asset....
