I still want to know if Tom Homan paid taxes on the $50,000. that undercover FBI agents
gave him on video in a paper bag. The IRS has tormented people for far less than that.
However, AG Pam Bondi doesn't think that Congress has the right to ask any questions
as part of their oversight responsibilities.

Oh, good! Another political post -- this time apparently featuring the crack reportage of MSNBC, which has such a stellar track record for ferreting out the crucial stories of the day!
I wish I didn't have to give the spaniel yet another bath; I'd otherwise be sure to watch with admiration if not outright awe!
What wonderful insights have they offered about the Virginia AG's race, I wonder? Have you seen any, @ThunderClap?
Or is that a matter best not covered in detail.

One indicator after another hinting at the United States slipping deeper and deeper into an autocracy where Trump and his cronies can do anything without being held responsible by anyone. And the usual warm-air syringes pretending that - as one of many things - an AG suspected of taking direct orders from President Pumpkinface to indict a former FBI director is a nothingburger, just like so many other unprecedented things that happened in the few months since the orange clown car director took office.
The question is now if the United States of America should be renamed the Banana Republic of America. Unfortunately this would result in the abbreviation BRA which could be confused with Brazil (which I think the Brazilians are not going to be very happy with). So other suggestions are welcome.

The United States is not remotely slipping into autocracy.
I find contrary suggestions amusing if they had not by now been repeated ad nauseum.

Hey Flapsy, what's your response to Trump doing nothing but persecuting his political opponents for private reasons
His administration is not even trying to act like they were pursuing legit matters when they first go for Comey and then potentially for opposing mayors and governors like Pritzker
if one person belongs to prison, it's Trump, he's been already convicted, he's a white-collar criminal as well, and he's using ICE and national guard as instruments of terror
Trump is repealing the division of povers between administration and judiciary
but you can stay in your bubble of fake reality, I don't care

Oh no, not a downvote! That's much more effective than a cogent counter-argument!
In the meantime, some might wish to consider the "Constitution," the "federal system" and the concept of "checks and balances," one of which is provided by the "judiciary."
EDIT: oh, sorry, I typed the foregoing before seeing the forceful allegation that I am "in a bubble." I DO find irony amusing, so thanks!
So, what's YOUR take on the Virginia AG's race? Since I'm in "a bubble" no doubt others can provide me with their own well-informed insights!

They are doing it not remotely but in all openness. And everyone not handicapped by self-applied blinders is able to see it.

Laugh about your own ignorance as much as you want. Your willingness to play down any of Trump's heinous acts or utterings or those of his sycophants has by now been repeated ad nauseum.
