I think that one thing is of utter importance: Practice. You can practice anything, repeat it, and become good at it. But being good doesn't mean that you are good, does it?

u cant repeat sudoku its way different than chess
Actually, you can. The trick is to either write with a pencil or to get a new one. The same goes for chess - you can just play a new game, with a new opponent - or better yet practice things like plans, tactics, openings. Of course, a pencil might be used in this context too.

Wth, imagine going to a sudoku tournament...
sounds weird...(No offence)
Imagine trying to teach Sodoku to a gorilla.
The gorilla can learn the symbols but play and the math not. He or she will grasp that it's a puzzle of sorts connected to the characters and they have to be placed properly but that is the limit. A gorilla has no idea we know it's an impossible mission. The real study is: How far can you push a gorilla
can a gorilla play chess?
