Shouldn't chess be in the Olympics?

You "physically" move the pieces.
But u don't change your position as the other sports do. I mean, ur mean position, the place where u sit. There is no running or jumping from this place unlike all olympic sports.

But there is the legal option to stand up and walk around when it is your opponents turn to move.

Ice sled riding is an olympic sport. Not more physical than chess.

They already have a chess olympiade.

The purpose is to have an equal number of gender segregated competitions. I say we need more of them at the school level.

I watch the olympics for one reason only- to watch physically fit people do stuff in minimal clothing grunting a lot. And when i say people i mean women.
And i really dont care who wins.

Chess does not fit into any of the reasons i would watch the olympics.

Although if we modified the rules a bit and made players wear minimal clothing, Ill fight with all my might to make chess an olympic sport.

An honest post with priority and integrity.

Um... not true. For example, how about archery and shooting? Also, I'm pretty sure weightlifters don't run or jump about. That could be really bad.
