Probability: Everyone having same chess position

Well the starting position is a position right? Now just get the whole world playing at the same time... Which leads me to my point: I don't think the position itself is the problem here ^^

By your logic we don't even need players to get paired nor real board or network connection nor people should be even knowing about chess at all and all. In essence, the probability would just be 1, a clear certainty.
Does that make any sense?

Technically, the starting position isn’t considered a position as such cause the game isn't in progress yet if no move is made so the original question isn’t answered. It doesn't need to be complex middle game position either. At least one move on either side is needed to carry out the math.
I disagree with you: the starting position is a position. But anyway, even assuming it's not, there are only 20 possible first moves and 20 possible second moves, so divide everything I said by 400 and bam! You get the result.

I find it oddly off when we are discussing about logic in a completely illusionistic thread like this.

Now it's better.
The whole essence was that starting position can't be considered part of game yet when no player has moved.
