I LIKE TO PLAY GUITAR AND PIANO
I hate all
I press the pedal and yell into grand piano.
The ukulele, a little banjo, and I’m learning the viola now
The Piano. I composed lots of piano musics, especially etudes, preludes, and fugues.
Cajon
Piano, Harmonium
I am expert in Piano.
Mostly the keyboard and guitar.
I did try playing the violin once, forcing my neighbours to move out.
I’m also an expert at playing the fool. No lessons required.
Piano, violin, percussion, and I have a guitar I don't play often.
I've given (I hope) a "thumbs up" to every active musician.
Why? it's obvious.
Musicians are generally wonderful human beings. Even if they sometimes make a father uneasy when they are around his precious unmarried young daughters.
Long, long ago, although I liked to sing, struggled to learn guitar, and found piano strangely natural, I looked down upon music as "not serious enough."
I loved math. Science. I even loved accounting. But music? I thought it was too fluffy.
Scroll decades ahead.
Now, I think music is the finest thing humans can produce. I still love math and science. I still love nearly everything, actually. I'm sort of compulsively appreciative.
But music? I love every sort. From hip hop to Haydn. Music reaches into the core of reality to the extent our consciousness can know it.
And, I'm not kidding here, some seem to commune with the Divine, from time to time, when they sit down to compose or play.
Being drawn to music feels like a calling to me now -- now that I'm older and much, much more experienced.
It's not always a practical call. But I honor it, for whomever it calls.
