I need the data of how much increase there was in the traffic of lichess after release of Queen's Gambit. I tried finding everywhere but couldnt find it. I kinda need it for a report(due tomorrow is silent). Any help would be appreciated.

@sdkman It wouldn't show me how many new players made an account on lichess.
and how much games existing players are playing

@TheUnbreakable my logic was that most people would google it once and then bookmark it thus most people would only look it up once while traffic would include people before and after ...
Another thing you can do is look for old screens screenshots because they show how many games are played and online users at the same time

the best data you are going to get about this is likely the monthly number of games listed on https://database.lichess.org/ – resolution only to one month, but at least the numbers are definitely correct.

I think from these games he can also use the api to get the creation date of each account and get the data he wants

sorry for the late reply.. I was trying to popularise chess in my institution so I was making a report on "effect of queen's gambit on chess".
I got the data of api of chess.com(as mentioned in #8)from some other site so i used that as my primary source.
but yes I was searching something like #7 earlier
thank you :)
