Thanks for letting us know : )
Yesterday a playful fawn was running around our backyard. First it would sprint around in one direction, then it would suddenly change direction and run the other way, and then it would change direction again and cut across the yard. Nothing was chasing it, and it was chasing nothing -- for twenty seconds or so it was just running for fun. Pointless, but utterly cute.

@rachel8 nothing was chasing it, and it was chasing isn't there a very famous book that sounds similar?

Rachel8,
Animals have abilities that are not well understood. Could it be the fawn and Obladie's dog were having some play?

Ihavenothing, hmmm, if there is, I'm not aware of it -- sorry!
morphyms, I guess I could imagine that, if I could imagine a fawn being brave enough to play with a dog!

Yesterday I thought the left rear tire of my bicyle was flat, but it was not. Instead someone stole one "l" from the German sparkling wine brand "Henkell". What will happen to that lonesome "l"? This world is weird for sure...

@astein I will check the spelling. But even with only one l it would still be nice.I have never seen a bicycle with two or more rear tyres.Today I cleaned the water pump in the fish pond.I was not in the pond, the pump was.I have run out of the milk I drink,so I will have skim milk until I go to the shops next.

@obladie At my bicycle the left rear tire is identical with the right rear tire, although if it frequently switches position with itself, so no need to get excited. "Henkell" is a reference to Adam Henkell, founder of a German
sparkling winery in 1856. "Henkel" in German means something like pot handle. Hope you got along with your complicated though pointless milk management.

Its a beautiful sunset sky in my town this evening, lovely shades of pink clouds billowing out in waves from the horizon to the zenith. The clouds are sitting below the cobalt expanse that lies beyond.
