how to stay calm

so recently I have been not able to be calm, like i keep having anxiety attacks
and this happens everytime i am at the doctor's or even speaking to someone
and one time it was so worst that I ended up just telling my mom to go speak to the doctor herself
p.s. I am not afraid of the doctor. i have just been through alot and I am not able to stay calm anymore like i could fr cry rn
i think i keep pushing myself to hard but idk how to stop

So...anyone with the same issue??? or is it just me?
Hi I personally have anxiety and I definitely understand what you mean. Something I’ve found that works well for myself is listerine strips, just take one when you start getting anxious. Also another way is just facing the things that make you anxious head on(it may be hard but it works.) You definitely aren’t alone dealing with anxiety, a lot of people will understand how you feel.
close your eyes... take deep breaths while thinking of what makes you happy.. it could be your pet some happy memories or your loved ones think of what make you feel better ^^

listen to your heart!

say "idiot" to everyone!

smile and laugh!

or engage in some activity!
have a dinner with your family and engage in talks!
drink a hot tea with some extra sugar!
and a good sleep or a calm and soft voice music.
And avoid logical things for sometime!

(nothing, its just a practical approach rather than philosophical or hypothetical approach)
It took me some years to discover that accepting the ups and downs of my anxiety as a part of my life brought improvement. Now at the older and a bit wiser stage I can ad that it does get better over time.
Firstly, crying is important. It's scientifically and psychologically proved that crying and let things soften up works ALWAYS.
Secondly, try to do activities you enjoy! Reading, playing any instrument, or gaming casually can loosen up stress.
Also, never forget to keep talking. Talk relaxed and calmly, with people whose company brightens up your day. Being social helps the brain stimulate and refresh your ideas.
Of course, everything depends in what experience you had to go through. But always remember, your family, friends and even this Lichess community is glad to aid you and help you stay calm.

Have the greatest of the days!
