hmm... well I am not sure but I know you have to have a website domain and you will have to pay for that domain and then you might need some servers to process moves and stuff and you also might need a website maker

Is this a blog, a chess playing website or something else @MinitoughForm?

Where will your proposed site differ from this one, OP?

@MinitoughForm Without a professional knowledge of a few programming languagesI(In the case of Lichess mainly Scala and Javascript + HTML and CSS) and a good team of developers, a good chess playing website is not possible. Look at how Lichess was developed, for example. Of course, big things start off little, but you definitely need to be an experienced developer. Good Luck with your project!

Then you kinda need to know how to code, unless you want to build your website off Lichess which doesn't really require coding do such and can be done on GIThub,

  1. Go to Lichess GIThub repository, I'll get the link now

  2. Fork Lichess repository by pressing the fork button, somewhere next to the title (Lila)

  3. Go to you're fork repository,
The whole Lichess website will be on it, everything, you just need to make text changes to the titles and you can make bigger changes if you want to make your website more significant like the logo,
    • You shouldn't have to add extra files if you don't want to, you only have to make changes to the current files, you actually [but don't have to do anything!]

  4. Register you're website on a server hoster, I'll edit with an example in two seconds, (just want to get all the links in one go) it shouldn't be anything too complicated, it should all be English.

  5. Sucess :D
