Hello everyone. So, I got a twitch account and created a streamer profile on lichess. I also downloaded OBS and got the settings set up. Now what? How do I actually get the stream to start and connect to lichess?

Hey @ChessMathNerd, you've finished the hard part of the process setting up your OBS and your twitch account.
In order to connect your lichess with twitch you got to be an official lichess streamer by achieving the streamer badge on your profile. You need to visit https://lichess.org/streamer and fill up your streamer page. After that you need to stream on your twitch account adding the lichess.org tag in the caption of your stream for atleast 30mins.
Lichess will automatically detect your stream and check if the content is appropriate and probably within 48hours you'll get a notification that you've been added to the streamer community. But nowadays lichess is having loads of streamers acceptance requests so it might take some extra time for the lichess mods to accept new streamers. However once you've been accepted, you'll get the lichess streamer badge after the start of your second stream.
