according to NoJoke's ask Lichess streams there are 40-75.
So in general, this number is low, wouldn't it be better if the number of moderators increased?
Guys, just because a mod symbol doesn't show up every time, it doesn't mean they aren't a mod. If I remember correctly, whenever a mod posts on a forum, they have the ability to choose whether their post is from a mod's point of view or a regular player's point of view. For example:
