I'm glad to say that a couple of shots of black espresso were enough of a boost, thankfully it wasn't one of those days were you need something just a little bit stronger, such as a triple shot succession of slug pellets, oven cleaner, and a jar of very highly concentrated instant coffee, lol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smYOb0uOnRA

For breakfast : hot-dogs or unsweetened cats???

For breakfast : hot-dogs or unsweetened cats???

I never eat cat before six p.m., although I've been known to sneak in a hotdog around noon, @Das_Hikus_des_Fikus .

But to return to the topic, I'll say this: I consider coffee black to be the proper coffee. No wimpy creamer and certainly no sugar or faux-sugar.

Furthermore, I think it's best to consume that coffee just before stepping up into the cab of a class8 truck -- preferably a Kenworth or a Peterbilt -- just before embarking on a cross-continent journey hauling crucial goods designed to provide for a noble and deserving population. Like a good man does.

I still respect @morphyms1817 , however, despite his tinkering around with his coffee in a way that the Good Lord apparently still permits for reasons that elude me. But that's why He's God (no, not @morphyms1817 , despite his doubtless goodness) and I'm not -- His understanding reigns supreme.

I've never stepped into the cab of a Kenworth or a Peterbilt after a pot of coffee, I'll correct that immediately!

It's hard to correct such a thing "immediately," @morphyms1817 .

Acquiring command of an actual Kenworth or Peterbilt is a major achievement, which typically requires a certain amount of preliminary training and hard work of a specialized nature.

Merely working hard at, say, accounting or playing lead guitar or even driving an Airbus is not, in and of itself, sufficient to prepare one for the majestic experience of sitting behind the wheel of a noble Class 8 and hauling heavy freight.

I do not doubt that you have the character to achieve such a thing -- but do you have the time and energy while still keeping your chess at a high standard?

Remember, every minute driving truck is a minute that one COULD be going over an endgame study. Which is also something a good man should do quite frequently.

If I achieve the class 8 certification, I just hope that the hippo will find me.

Some think that the Peterbilt and the Kenworth are the hippos of trucks. Which, of course, is a compliment.
