When you see them,if you feel happy and light ,that means you like them.You can feel it if the other person likes you also.Trust your feelings.If they like you they will let you know.Dont be stubborn and dont bother them if you arent getting the positive energy

I don't always know if someone likes me. However, one thing I notice is when someone hangs out with me on multiple occasions and has nothing to gain besides my friendship...

I think one should notice different signs. Things aren't always what they seem.

Now, how do I know if I like someone? Well, it depends...if I am looking for new friends, having something in common with them is a plus. Being morally/ethically aligned with them is very important. I wouldn't seek out friendships in a bar full of misogynists. I wouldn't expect to have much in common with a man or woman who believes in murdering people because of their color, religion, etc.

If I am hoping to find a woman who is interested in a long-term relationship, I use caution. I don't want to be "friend-zoned", but, sometimes, I can agree to be friends first. I am a bit wary of the "friends-first, friends-always" rule, however.
