Greatest Mysteries That Scientists Can't Explain

How can a thermos bottle keep hot things hot and cold things cold?I mean, how does it know?

Conduction and convection of the heat doesn't occur due to the vacuum in the bottle. Although, a little of heat is lost from the lid so it does but it doesn't keep hot things hot like it was 2 hours ago, in that bottle.

I didn't prove it. James Dewar invented the Thermos Flask and I just said what I was knowing.
