I will shortly be cruising to New Zealand,landing in Aukland,Wellington,Dunedin,Bay of Islands and Tauranga.
Any suggestions for sight-seeing away from touristy pseudo-cultural-heritage stuff and especially quality seafood dining establishments would be greatly appreciated.
Offers of free beer from any Kiwis here will be given the fullest consideration..as long as you promise not to mention the Bledisloe. (apologies to all non-Anzacs for that in-joke).

Anybody looking forward to playing in the classical shield arena? I played the blitz and rapid but this one doesn't seem to get the same enthusiasm. More rare are titled players to participate. But I'm thinking it's a go for me.
