A no means a no.

A no means a no.
I remember someone once asked my name at an occasion, I replied. Then he asked again (neither the music was on nor he was looking somewhere else, I had said my name properly and he was just beside me) and I replied with a slap, only to know that he heard it properly. But when I was going to ask why did you ask for the second time, he had turned away!
I hate it 2.
I get so frustrated I remember lunging at my brother for it. I HATE IT WHEN SOMEONE SAYS "HUH" AFTER I SAY SOMETHING like the person hears it but then asks again.

You could just block them. You aren't obliged to reply to everyone.
Personally, I don't take Advertisers too seriously, I usually have a small conversation with them if I have the time.Getting them highly irritated with witty or funny replies.Sometimes they get so angry that they block me instead.
I generally don't block these advertisers but I do report them.
About real life,
Well, it depends on the questions they ask as well and also on my level of patience and mood.I don't give into saying "yes", but neither do I stop talking to them.
I know right now most of the time I just nod it away and tell "nothing" to them
Once, I posted my game vs a GM. A jealous guy just posted against me and blocked me!
I mean, u block people if they win against GMs?
Yes and "y"

Ask your own conscience then you’ll find the answer to your “question” Nice try deviating from the original topic. My point was that there is nothing fundamentally wrong with users asking others to join their team through DM. Sure, for certain individuals (myself included) it can be very annoying however I would never call it insulting since they have every right to do so in order to achieve what they want! On the other hand, people on the receiving end have the choice to block, ignore, or fulfil the other’s wish.
Let me go back to your post #8 “ Just because they can, doesn’t mean they should”
Personally, I think modal verbs of obligation such as (should, have to, needs etc) are in a way rather pointless and overrated, since it doesn’t matter what circumstance one’s in, they can always make a choice. What you believe that you should or shouldn’t do largely depend on your moral standards.

Rules don’t really have anything to do with my original post, but you do realise that sending junk mails and chain letters is against the rules on lichess right?
