I mean like I can flat pick and I can fake a pretty damn good flamenco ( lol,I thought abt flamingo)
But anyways I do love to play the blues ,pentatonic modulation ( no you can't be a pentatonic modulator) for instance or harmonic tone riffs on the scales.
Lol so many musicians that are better i am, I bow my head in humility, credit where credit is due.
But I enjoy playing
And I love to improvise
It's so cool
When you surprise yourself
Do you play the blues ???

Listening to blues versus playing the blues?
I've tried listening to blues, but it doesn't seem to connect with me. I'll keep trying periodically; Maybe it'll grow on me.
I've never played any musical instrument; I can't carry a tune in a bucket. As an item on my bucket list before I die, I think it would be neat to buy a cheap guitar and make a lot of racket on it. I'd have to be careful about other people hearing it, though, as it might be considered mental abuse...

The only problem with considering the purchase of a guitar is that I'm finding there's a lot involved. For me, the biggest decision would be deciding whether to get a righty or a lefty. Then it's which brand, whether it would be acoustic-only or electric-acoustic, learning how to maintain it (tuning, setups, changing strings, etc.), do I take lessons or try self-learning? I might end up talking myself out of the idea, lol.

The set of teens is a subset of the set of kids.

I picked up three Buddy Guy CDs today at Goodwill. And I think I have a B. B. King CD somewhere. I'll do some more listening over the next few days to see if it grows on me. (I also picked up a 2-CD set of Coltrane, but he's jazz, right?)
