I like a yellow star like the Sun, relatively stable. A yellow G class star gives a good white light.
An Earth type planet slightly lower mass than Earth with similar density, give us a slight break on gravity, say 0.96g.
Metallicity should be very close to Earth's.
No bugs. No 135ºF summer heatwaves. Preferably a constant 40ºF year-round. Spiders, lizards, frogs, and all the random animals in the woods that are aimlessly wandering through my yard can go away as well.
I picture a kinder, gentler planet, that doesn't produce all the natural disasters that plague mankind. - :]
P.S. - Candy Land sky's, would be a nice touch too - :]
