I think I lost over a hundred before I actually won one. And even then, I thought it was a cheap win, not at all satisfying.

My first game of chess was against my grandfather, and I am positive that he allowed me to win - not that I remember it, I was perhaps 4 or 5 years old, but there was this tradition amongst us that we would play a warm up game that I would win, and then the next games I would also usually be given the W but allowed to make mistakes... But it would end facing grandpa on full strength.

Of course, I never won.

He passed away when I was 14, before I was ever good enough to beat him on full strength, and perhaps even now that would be an impossibility, though I have no idea what his Elo was.

Same here, the only reason it says I have a win before 100 wins is cuz my friend played on my account.

nope. I lost the first 40 games it seemed like. To my older next door neighbor best friend that was "teaching" me.
