Recently I made there this comment :
"It is amazing that countries promoting liberal economy are banishing competition"
and I never got an answer from them.

I joined up here after lurking the chess.com, lichess, and red hot pawn forums for a bit. The chess.com forums are godawful, whereas things seem sensible here. I'm also promptly enjoying the tactics puzzles, and the ease of taking a puzzle or game position to the "analysis board" to investigate further.
Definitely Lichess.
1. Free engine analysis
2. Good and friendly communities
3. Free tournaments
The list goes on and on
However, I do still go on chess.com to mix things up

The only real advantage that chess.com has over lichess is that it has a chat system. But some might call that a disadvantage. Anyway, lichess is superior in every other sense.
I've been playing on chess.com for the last 3-4 or something years. Before that i was playing chesscube, but they made it completely commercial so i had to give it up in favor of chess.com. Ultimately i started with games.yahoo.com/chess.
Somewhere in between i played at a site called chesspark.com. it was great, having atomic, losers( antichess) and most importantly crazyhouse from the very start of the site. Then chess.com bought it. Closed it. And moved all registered users to their (pretty poor, with no variants, ridiculous at that time) site, at which point i started boycotting them , up until the moment chesscube became completely commercial so i had to pause my boycotting for awhile.
Very happy to find lichess now. Still visiting chess.com though, for some news, and videos, but less and less often.

chess.com vs lichess: which is better?
At chess.com people have to pay for an inferior product. Everything is free at lichess and it's better.
An example: At chess.com if I want to see my games older than one month I have to give them money. At lichess I can see all my games for free.
At lichess we have freedom of speech. At chess.com anyone who mentions the word lichess is not allowed to write comments there. They know they are inferior to lichess so they know they have to use censorship to protect their disgusting business.
I would like lichess to be so successful that chess.com goes bankrupt. I hate chess.com and want their idiotic website to be destroyed.
Also what FM NobodyReally wrote. I agree with everything he said.

You can see all your games in chess.com for free. they released a new version three
"they released a new version three"
Lichess has only one version and it's many times better than the crap at chess.com
