Well, chessdotcom can copy lichess if they want to. Lichess is open-source so the source code is visible to everyone.
#4 Although this discussion doesn't make sense. But since you are defending chesscom. Let me tell you that chess copied variants, analysis, etc etc. Danny himself said that it is not stealing. And I agree with him and with you.
But chesscom stole live games from chess24 many times without their permission. Chess24 even showed a picture from chesscom, where it said clearly chess24 in meta tag.
So that is that. :D
@ChessCricket, This is not an offensive act! Everyone can introduce similar features by taking idea from others. This will not be called "COPYING". chess.com and lichess.org are the top Online Chess Platforms and they do their best to keep their users happy :)
Maybe, some Lichess Users have given some idea to them to implement it? No harm! Chill... Lichess is still the most liked Chess website and it will always be!
So is it copying or innovating?
