It seems many people think that you must use only one browser, Chess site and so on.

You should absolutely use multiple browsers, as it is better for your privacy, provides better activity seperation, and easier to manage, as one browser has a specific use case different to others. Just avoid Chrome, Edge, and Opera at all cost above others. However, when it comes to websites, using more actually increases your digital footprint, and reduces privacy, if you didn't know that. It's even worse if you give them your emails or other personally identifiable information. That's why I recommend sites like Lichess.org where you don't need to pay, or even need an account, to use the site properly. Lichess is as good as what an average person would expect from an online chess site, and once you get to know it better, above expectations. I'm not saying this is the one, perfect service you should use; I'm saying why are you trying to use other sites when you have enough? Or you can also think of it this way: why are you focus on mastering chess? Just a book and a board would be enough at times, or better, an opponent. This site provides more, what more are you wishing for? That was just a short opinion of me. :)
