Thanks for your elaborate comment. I have no real plan in place at this moment. However, I am focusing on promoting the game and allowing everyone to playing it for free. I want to keep all options open and see how things develop.

I actually thought about it but I came up with the conclusion that it might be difficult for beginner to understand the game and quickly and clearly associate different shades of color with its corresponding number. I also believe that the simplicity of the puzzle, including the ability to print and play it offline like a sudoku puzzle, is an important feature of the game.
At this time, I think I better keep those numbers in the square. However, I totally agree with you that additionally changing the square color can improve the game. I am open to suggestions for the right color scheme for the squares, as I am not particularly skilled in design and color and previously I may had difficulty finding a combination that works well. If you have any ideas or recommendations, I would be very grateful to hear them.
