To clarify one thing, I'm fine with people being against the keyboard, but I'm not fine with people swearing and cursing and calling keyboard players bad names in public. If you're against it, it doesn't bother me, but it does bother me when I see all the kb players being attacked.

@ZwischenzugX11 #3 --> Best post ever. It is as simple as that. End of story.
@ZwischenzugX11 #3 --> Best post ever. It is as simple as that. End of story.
There are 2 keyboard extensions. IMO both are cheating:
- The multi-premove extension is clearly cheating as @ZwischenzugX11 points out on #3. This is a single premove site, a multi-premove extension is entirely unfair.
- Now the kb extension for moving pieces is also unfair. Sure, it takes some practice to master, but it is nonetheless an aid to ultrabullet players that makes them faster because once they get used to it, they can just hover their mouse and press a key to make a legal move - which doesn't make sense. On phone or computer, you have to move your hand to the piece and drag it, which takes time. With kb, you don't have to do that, giving a clear and unfair advantage.
Now I'm not demeaning kb players in any way. Let them do what they want as long as it is legal. I'm just calling for the end of kb being allowed on lichess, because it's unfair and making many players quit ultrabullet.
Some people may then ask: "why doesn't everyone download kb as a requirement?" The reasons for that are simple:
- Lichess doesn't require you to download anything to play chess - it wouldn't make sense if lichess suddenly asked you to download something just to play a certain time control. This is not a school.
- Some people can't download it because they don't have permissions or their browsing history is tracked by parents, for example, and they could potentially get into trouble.
Now I'll let you all thonk about this, but I'm just trying to resolve the confusion here by getting both into a single topic.

Well if you think about this, keyboard players did get rid of the draging part, but you do need to put one hand on the keyboard and keep in track where your hand is. With the phone you also don't need to drag and drop, you can simply click the piece and press the square that you need to go to. To be honest, I've seen some people using the touchscreen and also plays very fast. They have less than a second and they managed to make like 20 moves and won the game. What I'm trying to say is that when people talk trash about keyboard players and say something like "this guy is a cheap keyboard player", do you really think that the guy is 100% using a keyboard? I felt like when I watch my friends using the keyboard or the touchscreen, I don't see a difference. So while most people complain about keyboard, there is actually a high chance that the guy is using a touchscreen/phone.
And I am definitely against the multipremove keyboard extension because this is a single premove site, and some moderators also said that multipremove keyboard is cheating.

Also to point out one thing. I saw many people's ultra rating in this post are kind of low. I'm not trying to offend anybody, but to be honest, at this level, people in ultra can use any method to beat you, which is probably why many of you think that speed = winning in ultra. But when you get to 2000+ or even 2100+, you will know how important making good moves are. I make one bad move and I can already tell that I'm losing (unless if my opponent hung their queen or something). Around 1300-1700 rating, if you're down a queen, you can still flag your opponent, but as you get higher and play better players, hanging a knight in the opening can lead you to lose the whole game, you don't get a chance to flag because when you're down a knight, your opponent can easily take more advantage of your pieces and the position, thus threatening mate, which if you keep moving fast and not think about the moves, you'll lose due to checkmate. And don't be quitting ultra just because there are kb players. Andrew Tang makes good moves and he can still get to no1 in ultra

What to click? (I don't see much)

@AnonymousChessKing They mean the keyboard plugin, noy keyboard move input by typing the move.
@KiNsWoRd They keyboard plugin is a downloadable chrome extension. You can look it up and find it easily on the chrome web store.
While I'm personally agaisnt the kb plugin, I'm not going to stop others (against their will) from trying it because it's still legal on lichess. I'm just recommending against it
