I did 67 kills, help me guys
Derail the trolley.
i glithed the kill count
dood 1/4 of people who played that game chose to kill FIVE instead of ONE
This is an unsolvable problem. It is related to a person's moral level.
should each life be considered infinitely priceless? if so, does that mean two lives are equally as valuable as one?
in my personal opinion, when we expand the trolley problem to a larger scale. e.g. 1 million compared to 1. it becomes clear that quantity does matter. but what about quality of the person? should their worth to society be taken in as well? i don't think so. (makes me think about chatgpt's idea that saving 5 people in the present moment and sacrificing itself would not be worth it in the long term because its usefulness in giving information, etc. will save more lives than the previous five). and of course celebrities should not be considered worth more than the average person...
in conclusion, saving two ppl would be the better choice for me. it would create less misery in general. but, of course, there is no true true answer
also thx for the link. seems fun to try out.
I think you don't understand the philosophical depth of the question. I am not surprised by 25% of people selecting that.
What should surprise you instead is that when asked what if that one person was you, then 75% of people answered that they would save themselves and let 5 people die.
The answer is, multi-track drift
I said do nothing
On every single answer
My kill total is 93
I thought it be higher...
