Why Offer A Feature That Does Not Work?

It's mind-boggling that you can stream live tournaments, host leagues, and yet the block feature does not work. Why not take it away until you fix it?

Instead, I block people, get paired with them, and end up being threatened with a ban when I abort the game.

Either fix the block feature or take it away, please.

Honestly, if I wanted to experience this level of frustration I'd get married.

u get paired because as u r banned and if u abort the game u must receive warning as its really frustrating for ur opponent

"This account violated the Lichess Terms of Service" ---- you have definitely greater worries than a playban, and this violation is not from a playban

A playban is a temporary suspension from playing any games. But a ToS ban (or red mark) means that you're permanently banned from rated games / arenas / simus / ... and you're in the separate pool of players with the same ban. In fact, you already got banned after 4 games!

You got paired with blocks in tournaments?

That’s intentional.

Blocking someone doesn’t mean that you can’t get paired with them in tournaments.

(Btw, how many blocks do you have? Race to 100? ;)
