Why can't I join or create any games?

Title says it all. Until now I was able to create and join pre-existing games just fine, but now attempting to create one results in an endless loading screen, while the 'lobby' section is simply empty

Reason is because youve violated lichess terms of service, have you ever checked your profile?

Basically it's a ban from a few things such as playing tournaments or joining games. The only way to play one is to get a challenge.

I don't believe I broke any terms, nor do I see anything on my profile. All I recall doing in this site is playing rapid normally and using only those quick messages below the chat. I also wasn't given any messages regarding this ban despite giving my email

go to lichess.org/appeal to discuss warnings you received from lichess
and do not discuss these types of topics in the forums
