Website just randomly crashed in middle of a game

This is so annoying man, I proper had checkmate when this shit happened.

There was a brief server crash. Everything should be back to normal now.

I checkmated someone just as the server crashed and now the game is stuck in limbo--the UI is still showing it as active yet gives Checkmate as the result with a score if 1/2 - 1/2:

#3 No, the game was effectively aborted by the server (which is what should happen when the servers crash). Refunds simply can't be given :(

It appears that the game you posted actually wasn't aborted. Your opponent lost on time while his king was checkmated.

@SU13_Syed Same thing happened with me for three times today......really disturbing.

@doom12384, seems someone or some process must have intervened as the game result is now correct, but it wasn't for some time after the server/app crash. Thanks!
