Since some days ago, the Android app is not showing the user language when tapping the profile name. If the user has added a country/territory flag, it is shown as usual, but when not (which are usually about 70-80% of cases), the language used to be in the top right corner of the pop up profile summary (it is also missing from the main profile page). This was very convenient to know if we share a common language or not.
This is strange, since I didn't update the app, and apparently I am using the last Android version already. Someone knows what's wrong?

Hello,
It was removed for privacy reasons. It's strange it still shows up when a country flag is set.

Oh, really?? No, it doesn't show up when the flag is set, perhaps I didn't say it correctly.
But there should be a way to show what is my language to others (and ideally enable more than one language if a user wishes). The flag is good for identity but doesn't say in which language I can communicate. So many US citizens have Spanish as their main language, and not all citizens from Spain do speak primarily Spanish.
Do you know if such a feature is in progress? I really feel lost not knowing how to communicate. English is not everyone's language.

Spoken language can reasonably be deduced from the country flag if set, otherwise you can just add it in your profile biography.

Does this mean everyone is happy with the new situation? Few players set a flag, is there a way to encourage more users to display it? Since this change (the removal of language on user pop up and profile) I feel socially lost on Lichess. I know socialisation is not important for many users and I respect that, but am I the only one missing this feature?
A possible solution could be asking users to set a flag, making the option to go flagless an active option that needs to be selected rather than a passive one.
