Timeout bug on server restart

I was playing this game when the server restarted, and a green "reconnecting" appeared on the screen and then faded out, giving the appearance of a successful reconnect. However, eventually I discovered I had lost the game on time! But the whole time it said it was my opponent's move. This is not the first time this has happened to me. It is very disappointing, because lichess should be able to tell on both sides - client and server - if the reconnect was successful.

Tip to not let this happen: Sometimes, at the bottom of your screen, it shows as ''lichess restarts in 10 minutes'' or something.
You should not play a game till ten minutes have passed. Unless it is very low, like if you play ultra or bullet.

You can also know by checking the server latency: lichess.org/lag
