The game was terminated due to cheat detected

Good evening. I was playing a friendly game with a friend. He needed to go to the toilet. He asked for more time. I decided to make a joke, and in the end I added 1 hour to it. After he returned, we made a couple of moves, and my friend, whom I gave 1 hour, was given a defeat due to cheat detected. Could this be a system error, or can't too much time be added? If there is a problem with time, then what does the cheats have to do with it?
Classic! It obviously had to happen when someone uses the bathroom :D

Jokes aside: the additional time you gave them has nothing to do with the issue.
Maybe you can ask your friend what they did during/with that all additional time?
He was in the toilet, that's for sure. I trust him in 100%
not a system error. and don't trust too easily.
Maybe he accidentally opened an Analysis tab on a different game forgetting about your game, it has happened before to me and to people I know. Innocent until proven guilty. Cheers!
@Braumoff

I looked at your game and am very surprised at the abrupt ending right after you gave your opponent the bonus time. For me there must be a connection, because his moves are absolutely unsuspicious.

However, what surprises me is that your opponent was able to play a few more games after this message, despite this cheating report. So it was probably a system error after all.

You and your friend should definitely go to lichess.org/appeal and solve this problem there!

I've always wondered why it's innocent until proven guilty rather than guilty until proven innocent
@Pi_Addict111 because that's how a state of law goes. However, this doesn't stand above clear logic.

@Tenakel there's no connection with adding time.

@Dragon_Emperor_9774 it's *NOT* another position from another game. It was the same position, with the engine activated
he went to the toilet, took out his phone there and opened the analysis on lichess to study the position ?

That's happened in OTB chess too in the past. Not sure if they used lichess analysis, but, well..

OP said there were a couple of more moves though. Conclusion is the same nevertheless ...
