The NES sound is great... only on a browser !
Does anyone know if there are plans to add the same sound customization feature to the Android app?
It would be a great addition for mobile users.

The new mobile app is still months away, but the old one isn't getting updates.
You Can dl nes sound, then edit lichess apk with apk editor and replace sounds files. Also works for boards, pieces and so on

Actually they are working on the new Android/iOS app. I am member of tester but its really farrrrr from realease.
Lichess is Amazing but mobile app dev IS really weak. Lichess app v2 is still far from custom builds from 1.0 that custom dev released for years ( including myselft) but which are not used most likely bcz such builds arent 'trusted'.
You better have to edit 1.0 apk ;)
That's great news, but I still think that lichess v1 is superior to other mobile chess apps, considering the great performances it offers even if my phone is old. It must be a thrill to participate in such a big project, respect !
Bro why u dont just use mobile website ? Its pretty good designed for mobile. Moreover you Can create you own CSS/ JS script if you want to enhance something u dislike.
I spent hours and hours on editing/recoding/compiling lichess app 1 before i figured out 'ok just use the website'
