I had the same problem on the "robot" sounds.
It does seem to be only premoves. Looks like a new lichess release has broken it, since its the same on multiple browsers
Same here, premoves does not make sound.

Same problem, premoves don't make sounds. Tried both Chrome and Firefox on Win 11.
sound problem with opera win 11 since yesterday
I've tested it and when you premove, not only do you not hear a sound for your premove, you also don't hear a sound on opponent's move before your premove.
For me, it's only pre-move double moves not making any sound for bullet zhouse. Yesterday, I experienced a sound issue that was eventually fixed (thanks) however today, this new problem occurred. Firefox.
