Scrolling in Analysis

When scrolling down on the analysis screen, the mouse will almost undoubtedly cross the game board, causing the scrolling of the page to stop (and starting to use scrolling in a different way). This is very annoying since I want to glance back and forth between the analysis graph and the board.

The problem also occurs when I try to scroll up from looking at the analysis graph. The cursor would have most likely been clicking on different parts of the graph and hence is in the middle of the (x-axis of) screen, so in that case when the player scrolls up the page to view the position, it gets stuck half way just as before.

Also, I personally see no benefit to using the scrolling function to dictate the position on the game board.

Please consider changing this.

@ 3005
It is because you're novice in chess .
Scrolling moves in analyzes is the best feature possible - one can rest from clicking all the day long- and is much faster .
For scrolling page -just move cursor out of the chessboard -it shouldn't be difficult even for beginners in chess programs usage .

I agree completely with 3005. It is annoying and furthermore has nothing to do with being a "novice in chess" as you put it.

ya I kinda agree with 3005 and Tele.
guess we'll have to get used to it.

I find it super useful to scroll moves on the board.

Kind've on the fence about this one. Maybe it could be one of those options hidden away on the settings page. :S

The feature has personally grown on me and I practically never scroll in the analysis board by accident, even on my 13" laptop /w track pad. So maybe just put in the quarter of a second to move your cursor to the side, or just reverse the action by scrolling back up. It's really not that difficult.
