Request: Can I have another user's username if that user has no activity on their account?

The following user has had no activity on their account since the account's creation over 6 years ago:

https://lichess.org/@/oosh

I know the FAQ says I can't change my username (https://lichess.org/faq#change-username), but I would not mind having to use a new account in order to use that username. Is this possible?

To be clear, I'm not suggesting we both have the same username. I'm requesting if I can be given their username. In other words, if their account can be deactivated since it has never had any activity. I know chess.com does this when a user requests it, so was wondering if Lichess does as well.

If you become oosh, can I have oosh96?

No don't do that, it will mess up so many statistics. What if I want an abandoned account that has already played 100 games? Those games have to be deleted and all ratings with the opponent the account played is all messed up. What if the accounts owner decides one day to come back to Lichess to play again?

Bad idea.

That it would mess up old statistics and games, etc is also the reason, why you can generally just change the Casing of the letters in your username on lichess and not the whole name.
