Quick pairing not working for anyone else? • page 1/1 • Lichess Feedback • lichess.org

For the past couple of days I've been (nearly) unable to find a match in any time control. I search using the quick pairing feature for 5-10 minutes before giving up. I am not particularly highly rated, I have tried with both 15+10 and 3+2 (both of which usually pair me within 30 seconds), and I have tried searching at all different hours of the day. Today I finally found one single game, but it was against a player rated nearly 300pts lower who played a troll piece sac on move 3. Is anyone else experiencing this as well...?

Your account is banned. You can appeal here: lichess.org/appeal and you can read more about it: lichess.org/page/appeal. If your account violated the Terms of Service you will only be paired with other players that violated the ToS, that is why it takes a lot of time before finding a game.

It's because you've been flagged as restricted. When you hover over your name you can see "This account violated the Lichess Terms of Service" Either you've cheated or trolled or thrown games or whatever. Mistakes rarely happen and flags only happen if the system is 99% sure or a human has reviewed it and manually flagged you. If you think this was a mistake go to: https://lichess.org/appeal

I can actually see the exact game you gave up and started cheating lol. 4 days ago I guess you got really frustrated after losing a game and in the next three games you conceded immediately after your first move (to try and lower your rating I guess?) After those two games every single one of your games was either perfect or just one or two small inaccuracies which is really sus because just 3 games before you'd blunder every 10 moves.

Oh yeah, I get frustrated very easily playing blitz and go on big tilt-resigning sessions. I asked the mod if he/she could keep me banned from blitz (assuming they unban me from other time controls) since it's so bad for my mental health. Definitely not something I'm proud of.

I am very flattered that you think I am cheating at a blitz rating of 1300, though.
