Question about reporting cheating

I reported what I believe to be an obvious cheater. New account, 99-100% accuracies in ~30/36 games. It's clear when they are using an engine vs trying to play straight. Aced a 1700 rated player with 99% accuracy but lost to a 1300 player a day apart.

When I reported this player and the obvious use of engines and providing links to the games I received this message:

"Accusing other players of using computer assistance or otherwise cheating is not acceptable on Lichess. If you are confident that a player is cheating, use the report button on their profile page to report them to the moderators.

Please note that repeated violation of this policy will result in loss of communication privileges.

You can read our Communication Guidelines here: lichess.org/page/communication-guidelines."

Can I get some clarification on how to report a player for cheating if accusing them of cheating is not acceptable?

You received that warning not for the report itself, but for the way you talked to your opponent. Do not tell your opponent that you think they cheated. Do not make statements that imply that they are cheating either. Do not tell them that you reported them, or imply it. And while you are at it, do not swear at them.

Next time, if you have a question about a warning, go to https://lichess.org/appeal
