@Davesmith17 Can you post an example? Almost every puzzle that I think has a "dubious solution" is in fact the only solution, with near-looking alternative failing to an exact response by the opponent.
Some positions are poor, in the sense that no one would ever include them in a tactics book, but I can't recall a single puzzle where the solution, contrived as it may be at times, isn't the clear best continuation.
