Puzzle rating not changing despite doing lots of puzzles... puzzle total not changing either.

In my opinion, they completely borked the new puzzles. All the people who don't normally do puzzles in the first place are pouring out the praise, but the minority of negative comments are all by people who have done thousands of puzzles here.

From what I can see, they've tried to incorporate many of the features of chesstempo into v2, at the cost of breaking some of the most useful and NECESSARY features, such as the ability to go back to recently completed puzzles. Often, if I fail a puzzle, I bring it up on the analysis board to go over WHY my solution wouldn't work. However, on the mobile app, the analysis button is about 4 pixels, immediately next to the 1/4 of the screen dedicated to "Continue Training." If your finger is off by even a millimeter, it loads the next puzzle, with no way to return to the previous one unless you're in the absurd habit of memorizing puzzle numbers.

The feedback of someone who's done 30 puzzles should count about 1% as much as the feedback of one who's done 3000. Having done over 2900 myself, my feedback is that it sucks. They've added features that are really only useful for beginners, at the expense of breaking perhaps the single most useful feature for experienced solvers. And now, they're patting themselves on the back for it because a bunch of people who've done a dozen puzzles in their lives are flooding the response thread to the blog announcement.

Bloody brilliant.

Hijacking the topic wasn't really my intent. I experienced the lack of rating change too when v2 was first implemented, but this seems to have been resolved. In any case, sorry for ranting on a different subject.

No worries; I'd be glad to record other issues too. I just didn't know how else to respond to the comment.

You are probably not logged in.

If you are doing this on mobile, check your 3G/WiFi connection, update (reinstall) the app, log in and try again.

Still on mobile, you may also try the website instead of the app (if this may be an option).

If you are on a PC/Mac/tablet, maybe try another browser.

The puzzles are working, trust me, as someone who has done like 6k of them :D :P

What changes did they make? For some reason now I'm doing puzzles that have been done only like 200 times versus tens of thousands of times before. I feel something has changed about them, they seem different.
Also, we no longer have the graph of how our puzzle rating changed in the last puzzles. I think chess.com does that well.
