I have a question. How do happen that: my puzzle rating about 2500 now. First I solve this puzzle: https://lichess.org/training/ZQldF width rating 2776
+9 give me, then I missed that: https://lichess.org/training/230Kr rating 2558, But I lost -17 point.
I think if I solve stronger puzzle, I give more point then what equal from me.
But another puzzles seems logically works.

Just like with game ratings, rating deviation also plays a role. The more "stable" (reliable) puzzle's rating is, the more the success or failure affects your rating. And your rating deviation also may have changed between the two puzzles.

Thanks for the answer, but 17 point minus not seems for me as normal method.

@feltamad Normal rating changes by 7-30 points per puzzle you solve, depending on the difficulty of the puzzle and how stable your own rating is.
As mkubecek has mentioned, a puzzle with an unreliable rating will change your rating less to ensure that your puzzle rating is accurate.
Congrats on getting 2500 puzzles btw!

If it makes you feel better, I once lost 70 for failing a daily puzzle. I quicly tried a regular random one, failed again and lost another 30. C'est la vie...

It seems strange compared to the experience of scoring normal games. It's not a tragedy though. The main thing is the practice anyway.
