Problem with mobile app

It would be really great if the developer could remove the piece zoom when a piece is moved.

I make undesired moves every other game with this, because I use the (zoomed) image as a pointer, as is obviously the assumption in any UI. I understand that some people may forget what piece they are moving in the time it takes them to move it, and so they need a zoomed image of it to be shown to them while they are moving it, but the app should probably not be optimized for those people. Or if some people think it's a great feature, could it be made optional in the settings? Thank you.

So, it's it. Thank you for your post.
I play on Ipad and it was very pleasant previously but now in 5-5 it's just impossible for me.
I try but it's very difficult. I spent a lot of time looking for disable it .
Sorry for the mistake and my bad english.

To isopropyle: I don't think this is a new behavior.

It was always a problem for me and a reason to avoid using the app. I get to resign games because I don't do the moves I intended to do. One typical example would be e4 instead of e5 because the zoomed piece is on e5. This is a kind of trap based on common UI assumptions.

It's really curious. For me it was the first time 3 days ago. Before it was perfect. No zoom. But on an Ipad... I thought it was a new version of the game.
Now I am like you, i make lot of mistakes. Often players are cool but it's really hard to play.
