Please remove hint option from puzzles

Because I just found that it can be used to increase rating easily.

Yea atleast rating should get low if we use hint

it will be very easy to guess moves, most of the time they are forced

Using the hint option is supposed to make the puzzle unrated, but while it unchecks the "Rated" box it still gives points for solving the puzzle.

It'd be better to not increase the rating if hint is used, tho

There has to be an option to remove that button. I just noticed a sudden burst in my kids ratings. I could not figure out why. Now I know. They are using the hint button. Not good.

#4 shows the link to the bug.

In there, you can see that ornicar completed the fix five days ago (as of this post). So as soon as the fixed software is deployed to the website, the new behavior will take effect. Of course, that requires a server restart which interrupts everyone. So they don't do it after every minor fix. Yes, it's important to you. But in the grand scheme of things, maybe not to everyone else.

Keep an eye on https://lichess.org/source . When "last boot" drops back to zero, you know they've restarted the server.
