Please make more strings translatable!

The "Translate Lichess" button at the bottom of the site already allows us to translate some of the app's string to our languages;
but there're still some "always english" strings...

Please, go through the source code, and make the remainder translatable as well!

Thanks!

when creating an account:
"Invalid username. Please use only letters, numbers and dash"

sometimes I have connection problems, and it says:
"Reconnecting"

when failing a chess captcha:
"Not a checkmate"
"Retry"

any chance?

I'd like to rejoice my compatriots by tranlating them!

also, it would be nice to have an international or localised time and date format. currently it uses some national format of USA or UK :-(

You're right, I should make all (or most of) that translatable... I hesitate because then it's a lot of work to review and apply and merge all translations people send. I need to be available to do it quickly (before people send redundant translations) and I'm traveling at the moment, so it's never the right time.

But it will come eventually.

About the dates and numbers, they already are formatted accordingly to the user locale.

For instance, look at the games dates:

Thank you very much!!!

I just wanted to hear that it is on the to-do list.
No need to hurry, it isn't urgent. Enjoy your holidays/travelling!

About the dates/times: Actually, I was referring to the "more exotic" languages.

For example the Galician language:
http://gl.lichess.org/games/checkmate

I think it's a very good idea that you format dates/times according to the system/user locale.

But what locale should be used if no user locale is available for a specific languages?

My suggestion:
2013-02-15 13:48:00
(the time of your last post)

I think that's pretty international.

I'm relying on the Java date localization for date formatting, it's pretty good but indeed it does not handle Galician :-/

I'll see if I can detect lack of support for a language and then format it to "2013-02-15 13:48:00".
