Playing offline against computer some weird UI/UX things (Android)

I am a new player and don't play online (yet). So I like to play against the computer.

There is some things I don't understand about the user experience in the Android app. I don't know if I'm doing anything to trigger this.

There seem to be 2 'modes' to play against the computer. It feels random to me in which mode a game will start, but maybe I am missing something.

  • In the first 'mode' it plays like normal, you can not undo a move. You have to propose a take back. (The < button doesn't work). After the match I can do analysis and request computer in depth analysis.
  • The second is slightly different. I can easily press the < button to go back one move and play a different one. There is no 'propose take back' option anywhere anymore. And after the game is over there is no option to request a computer analysis. Only the simple movelist.
