I'd like to do the following.
- start a new game, playing against the computer
- during the game, stop playing, and export the game for later
- in the future, import that game and continue playing against the computer
I have found one way which works.
- Tools >> Board Editor >> Continue from Here (this starts playing against the computer)
- In account profile >> games, find the in progress game and continue it
The approach above that works relies on being logged into your lichess account. Which means you can't send it to someone else to pull up on their computer to continue with.
The goal of this is for a chess club where multiple students will play as a team against the computer for learning purposes. We can start a team game against the computer, but likely won't finish the game and so want to resume playing against the computer next time. But we don't want to have to be logged onto the same lichess account.
Is there a way to do this?
