As of today, when I click on "Play with the computer," it turns orange but does not open to allow me to begin a game. Any suggestions?
Computer does not play illegal positions
Thank you for your suggestions. The main page has many options, and I am wondering if I accidentally clicked on one. What should be the default view and how do I return it to default? Ordinarily your 5 steps is what I do except now I can't get passed Step 2, when clicking on "play with computer" only turns it orange but does not actuate it. I checked my internet connection, which is fine. I do think that something on the main page is not set right likely by my inadvertence.
Thanks again. Is there some way to communicate with Lichess other than the very limited topics provided under the "Contact" tab?
It's a miracle cure. Today it is working fine. The opening page of Lichess had been showing an unusual amount of clutter. That is now gone, and the Play with Computer tab is working. Thanks to those who offered help.
