Not the first time people complain as they failed notice - which no easy - that their web session lost connection to lichess server and they clock kept running.

This is not frequent but happens and if your opponent takes exceptionally long time to make a move refresh the page in your web-browser. Super annoying but I don't thing there much the server can do about it.

No, my opponent had 2 minutes and I had 12 minutes
And I navigated to another tab and got timed out too quickly. My opponent was stalking the whole game and trying to trip me up. It's not just simple fail to notice.
